Global forum guidelines and rules
Our forum is indented to be used by professionals and enthusiasts. We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone interested in the world of watches. That’s why it’s very important for us to outline a set of guidelines and rules when it comes to what’s allowed on the forum and what’s not ok. Here are the most important things you need to keep in mind, should you choose to use our forum.
1. We encourage everyone to always keep the discussion on the topic/subtopic that you chose. You are not allowed to engage in discriminatory, political topics or anything of that manner. If any discussions are off-topic, our moderators have the right to lock the discussion/topic.
2. It’s very important for us to maintain a clean, friendly environment. We do not allow, nor do we condone the use of abusive statements, aggression or negativity. Name shaming or anything in that vein will not be allowed, either.
3. Users are not allowed to post any trademarked, copyrighted content. If they do, they could have their account removed, and they will be liable when it comes to any DMCA (or any other) violations.
4. We understand that some situations might bring in the need to use profanities. We do not accept or agree with that type of content being posted on our forum. So, please don’t use any profanities, or keep those to a minimum.
5. Our forum doesn’t allow the posting of any adult/mature content or any nudity-related content. Additionally, we don’t accept sexual content on the website. The forum is meant to be a safe, family-friendly space, so any sexual content is prohibited.
6. Advertising is allowed, but only in specific situations, as follows: either you are selling your own personal property in the dedicated trading/sales section, or the Admin allows you to perform any type of advertising.
7. Signatures are allowed, but they, along with the username or avatar, must be appropriate. Sensitive language, nudity or anything in that vein is not allowed. We are not responsible for any username or avatars, however we reserve our right to delete those, to our own discretion.
8. If you or anyone you know was banned on the forum, you can’t contact the moderation team, nor can you create a new account.
9. We only allow users to create a single account on the forum. In case you encounter account problems, you can always get in touch with us. However, any ban decisions are final, and if any user has multiple accounts, all of them will get banned.
10. It’s very important for us to maintain a safe environment for all users. That’s why we don’t allow trolling, disclosing private information, calling out grammar or spelling, not people sharing any personal details on the forum.
11. Our forum is not responsible for the content posted by any user. Every forum user is fully responsible in front of the law for the content they post. We reserve the right to disclose personal information to the authorities, if we are asked. Additionally, we also reserve the right to remove users from the forum, if they don’t abide to the rules.
12. Users should only post photos and videos that are related to their travels, watches or setups. If you use any external resources, always give credit to the creator and link to the original source.
13. In the trading/sales section, users should never share misleading, scam or fraudulent posts. Always list the location, price or condition, depending on the situation. The forum and its admins/moderators are not responsible for the outcome of any private transactions.
